TILE Basketball and Cheerleading will begin it's 10th season this year. This league measures success not by what's on the scoreboard, not by wins or losses, but by attitude, effort and improvement. I believe it has become evident each year that the kids played with good attitudes and sportsmanship, always gave their best efforts, and improved each and every week. That kind of display of mental and physical toughness, is a result of many hard working coaches and other volunteers. Also, our great referee's do a tremendous job teaching our kids every aspect of the game. For those of you who have watched the championship games in recent years, I believe it is evident that we have restored parity to the league, and that the league itself is improving. However, there is always room for improvement. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this league a great success for our kids! This season, Craig Holder will be the T.I.L.E. commissioner. Craig has voluntereed to continue to provide the opportunities that T.I.L.E. offers to our children. I will still be helping in certain capacities, however, Craig will be doing most of the work. He is going to need as much assisatance and as many volunteers as possible. This league serves approximately 250 kids each week. That means we need lots of coaches, concession workers, scoreboard operators, scorebook keepers, cleaners, etc. Without these volunteers, this league WILL NOT FUNCTION. If you would like to volunteer, have ideas or suggestions, or have any questions, please email:
